Roslyn Binford Hopf, Ph.D.
Co-Principal Investigator in the ED Parent Support Project
 


Dr. Binford Hopf received her doctoral degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. She completed her clinical internship and postdoctoral training at The University of Chicago. At The University of Chicago, she was a psychotherapist on two NIMH-sponsored psychotherapy outcome studies comparing family-based treatment to individual psychotherapy for adolescent anorexia nervosa and adolescent bulimia nervosa.

Dr. Binford Hopf has published numerous journal articles and book chapters addressing the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of eating disorders and has taught at the University of Minnesota, Macalester College, University of St. Thomas, and The University of Chicago. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and maintains an affiliation with the Eating Disorders Program at The University of Chicago.

She is the recipient of an Alexander von Humboldt research fellowship, which allows her to carry out this study.
